Ingredients and Spices for Making Lauki Kofta with Fan:

  1. 1 medium square (bottle pumpkin)
  2. 100 grams of besan (gram of flour)
  3. 4-5 cloves of garlic
  4. 1 inch chopped ginger
  5. Cut 1 medium onion
  6. 1 medium tomato
  7. 1 chopped green chili
  8. 1/3 teaspoon ajwain (carom seeds)
  9. 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
  10. 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder
  11. 1 teaspoon of red chili powder
  12. 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
  13. 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
  14. 1/2 tsp Garam Masala powder
  15. coriander leaves for garnish
  16. the right oil
  17. Salt to taste

Instructions for placing Lauki's Kofta in the Airfryer

  1. For Kofta: First drain the water from the crushed pevka, drain the water (you can use curry water). Add ajwain, half turmeric powder, half chilli powder, half garam masala powder and crushed square salt to taste. Add meringue and mix well, do not add water.
  2. Fan heat at 400 F/200 C for 10 minutes. Place the dough balls and bake at 190 C for 5 minutes. Open the pan and roll the balls. Continue cooking until browned (about 10 minutes). Brushing is optional (using cooking spray/silicone brush).
  3. Curry: Prepare ginger, garlic, onion, green pepper, set aside. Prepare the tomato puree and set aside. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and fry for a few seconds on medium heat. Reduce heat to low, add red chili and turmeric powder and stir. Add onion paste, cumin powder and coriander powder and cook for 2 minutes. Add the tomato paste and mix, cook for 3-4 minutes on low heat, stirring constantly.
  4. Add 1 cup of water and salt to taste, mix and simmer for 3-4 minutes on medium heat. Pour the whole kofta into the sauce, add garam masala powder and mix, cook for 2 minutes on medium low heat. Turn off the flame and garnish with coriander leaves. Lauki kofta curry is ready. Serve with bread, parathas and rice.
